Every year, we are delighted to welcome filmmakers and special guests from around the world to attend with their work. These esteemed guests, who have ranged from Sydney Pollack to Albert Maysles to Roger Ross Williams and Jasmine Dellal, bring the audience a step closer to their works, answering questions at post-screening Q&As, offering insights on their inspiration and process, and socializing with other festival guests at our events.
If you would like to help bring filmmakers and special guests to the festival, please contact us about our Fly a Filmmaker program.
*COVID-19 Update: Due to the unpredictability of the virus, the Mendocino Film Festival cannot commit to producing a traditional festival in 2021. The festival will continue to screen films for our community of film lovers, but instead of forty film programs over one weekend, MFF will engage in creative, safe ways to connect filmmakers with their audience. Films submitted to the festival during this time will be reviewed and considered for online or physically distant screenings throughout 2021. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these challenging times.
Submissions for the 2021 Mendocino Film Festival are now open.
Film submission for the 2021 Mendocino Festival will close on December 20, 2020.

We look forward to seeing your masterpiece!
