After graduating Fort Bragg High School, owner Brittney Harris moved to New York to attend The Culinary Institute of America. In 2009, she graduated with an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry, followed by obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Business Management in 2010. She has worked for Thomas Keller at Bouchon Bakery Yountville as a pastry commis and helped Michael Chiarello open his newest restaurant in San Francisco, Coqueta. She moved back to Fort Bragg to be near family and opened her own bakery, A Sweet Affair, in 2014.
