The Kelley House Museum is celebrating Cat Mother, and their impact on the Mendocino Coast with a collection of ephemera, albums, and articles. On June 4th a panel will discuss the intersection of Cannabis and Cat Mother, in addition to live music on the Kelley House lawn from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
Cat Mother was an eclectic rock band formed in Greenwich Village in 1967. They toured with Jimi Hendrix who co-produced their first album and had a hit with “Good Old Rock ‘N Roll” in 1969, by 1970 Cat Mother was living on the Mendocino Coast
