Stand By Me

The Mendocino Film Festival and the Skunk Train proudly present Cinema in the Redwoods, a unique twist on the outdoor movie experience.

Join us as we board the incomparable Skunk Train in Fort Bragg on August 20th and 21st at 6:30pm and cruise to an open meadow at the Glen for a screening of Stand By Me, complete with bottomless popcorn and a drink token. (Concessions and a full bar will also be available.)

The train will return to the station at 9:50 pm.

A coming of age story set in 1959, Stand By Me follows four 12-year-old friends as they set off into the wilderness in search of the body of a missing local boy. Based on a story by Stephen King, this ’80s classic features the compelling River Phoenix, a terrific soundtrack, and a legendary barfing scene.
